University and Futures at ISB
Our programmes are there to support all students, providing them with the tools, opportunities and skills to become life-long learners. In the 21st Century, it is well known that the employment market is uncertain and changing quickly. The cliché that a new type of job is created every minute, as old one is retired now goes without saying.

ISB vision is to ensure 'everyone excels'. We look to empower every student from Year 7 upwards, to begin a journey that enables them to discover for themselves what they may like to do after formal schooling, and how they may enact and make that difference in terms of our principles.

We are an inclusive educational community, who are as proud of students applying to elite Universities in the US, UK or rest of the world, or applying to be Medics. But are as proud of students entering the world of Arts and applying to lesser known universities and countries.

It is important to us that every student's ambitions and ideas are important, and that through the programme they choose the best fit for them in terms of career ambitions and University pathways. Students will lead the process throughout school, ultimately leaving ISB confident in their ideas for the future but also flexible and ready to realise that ambitions and pathways change as they experience the world.
University Success
Aims of our University and Future programme
Provide a student led approach to Careers and University Education guidance that equips students through their own enquiry and discovery to choose their own future.
Provide timely, informative guidance that opens up the world of options and future pathways to each and every student.
To equip students with a set of skills that enables them to understand themselves, promote themselves and realise the skills they possess and how they match with future careers and pathways.
Respect equal opportunities for all and ensure that all students whatever their ambitions are supported.
Promote a “best fit” approach to University applications and data analysis, that ensures we do not focus on considered Top 50 Universities or particular careers that in many schools are focused upon such as Medicine.
We promote a variety of events, both offline and online which utilise our Alumni, Parents and Internal and external skills and connections.
